Why

This is why I fight against the narrow-mindedness that surrounds me in this corner of the world.  Those individuals who try to pigeonhole the god of this universe.  Those who explain, with their culturally-biased and limited notions, that I have to say a prayer a certain way, have a specific type of relationship with Jesus, and use the right terminology when I explain creation.  Those who spell out in exacting words how I should listen for the small still voice of God.  Those whose simple words hold all the answers.  Those who say I have it all wrong.  I ask them to explain this using their common and well-worn language:
