Plastic Bags

Anyone who knows me well knows how opposed I am to the use of plastic bags.  Although I already knew about the use of petroleum to make the bags and how the bags end up in landfill and the oceans, I didn't know the average use time for a plastic bag is 20 minutes or that the process to recycle a plastic bag takes 85 times the energy than to make a new bag.  So I thought I'd share this infographic - you might learn something:
