I worked on the herb beds and transplanted some naturalized daffodils into the farmhouse flowerbed for next year. The oregano, thyme, chives, and French tarragon are coming back and the cilantro has reseeded. It looks like the sage died so I will have to replace it.

Cherie, looks like Spring is in the air and every thing that has life on the homestead knows it and is happy about it. I know I certainly am happy to see Spring and the warmer weather. I'm planning on being in the garden today to work a little on preparing the sweet corn area for planting time. Planting time for sweet corn is not until the middle of May here so there's still plenty of time to get it ready. Garden areas always look so nice when they get cleaned up in the spring time. The challenge is to keep it that as the summer drags on into the harvest time. Hopefully, this will be a better year than last year. I'm praying that you get some drier weather to be able to start your planting.
Have a great Spring day on the homestead.
David, hope you got some gardening done over the weekend. We had a hard freeze -again - plus the ground is still wet. Looks like we're going to have a very short spring. :)
Cherie, what's your bread recipe?
