Not only are diet sodas filled with extra nasty chemicals that are linked to serious health problems, studies have shown that they actually increase hunger and do not contribute to weight loss.

best decision I ever made was to stop drinking Diet Coke. Ah, and stopping smoking, that's sort-a important too.

I quit drinking sodas a long time ago when I realized the acid, or whatever, was destroying my gums, but the other day I was in the Goodwill for more than a couple of hours and got so thirsty I bought a Diet Coke. I was so surprised at how good it tasted. I wonder what it is about the taste/flavor that makes them so addicting.
