Quote for the Day

"Two roads diverged in a wood and I - I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference."

Cherie, I have often thought about the seemly small decisions that I've made in my life. Some were definitely life changers and I didn't even know it at the time. Small decisions made early in life can have huge effects in later life. The biggest in my life was the career path I followed. All I was wanting was $15 a week more than I was making but it turned into a life time career that I loved until the day I retired 41 years later. At age 20 without a family, I could have cared less about what kind of health insurance the job provided but 20 years later when my wife had massive health issues, it was truly God's gift of provision. Many other seemingly small decisions have had great impact on life at a later time. I've come to understand, there are no small decisions in life. Everything can and most likely will have an effect on the path we have chosen to follow.

Have a great less traveled path day.

this line really stuck with me when I read the poem in a high school english class.
