And we got the hay baled for next winter:
I didn't participate in the baling of the hay, but I did provide some of the farm hands with a delicious dinner of fresh fish, sweet potato fries, green peas, and homemade bread.

Cherie,
Those babies are so darling!
I have heard that baling hay is a very hard and strenuous job. I'm sure you are relieved it's completed.
And scrambled eggs too. :)
Adrienne, I wasn't part of the hay baling but it is hard work. Fortunately, this year it wasn't quite as hot as in past years so the "farm hands" got a bit of a break.
Resurrection, yes I did forget to mention the farm-fresh eggs we had that night, as well. :)
My boyfriend walked by as I was looking at this post and said, "those are cute dogs." Actually, those are really cute goats. Funny thing is he would love to have goats.
Hay bailing just sounds dangerous to me (maybe it's too many horror movies).
