Since one of my September challenges is to increase my yoga practice to every day, I thought I'd share some health benefits related to yoga and maybe encourage some baby yoginis:

Great infographic and I love how it reminds folks that yoga is not just poses. I've been doing yoga for 20 years now, sometimes in the more active flow styles and more recently, doing therapeutic/gental/restorative styles which for me are wonderful because they're more meditative and calming on my mind. I know I'll return to regular sun salutations but for now, this has been the best mental health exercise ever :)
I finally found another great class at the community center after the really super awesome teacher moved to Tahoe (I know!). With my stressful job I look forward to Thursday nights and remind my co-workers that they really want me to go to yoga class every week, (so please don't do anything to prevent that from happening- like making me staying at work later)
