I remember seeing this last year (maybe from you?). Powerful! I plan to ask for a few handmade gifts because I know people will always buy some gifts but other than that I would like people to donate to causes for me like WWF. My brother and I "shopped" for each other at an alternative gift market last year. We ended up giving each other the same thing which was trees for a country, can't remember which.
Lisa - could be you saw it here last year; I've been known to repeat myself when it's something that I really care about.
Wonderful that you're already doing something like this. A few years ago I started giving my parents "gifts" from Heifer International. They have everything they need or want and I hated not giving them anything but also wasting money on unneeded items.
