Living in the buckle of the Bible Belt and having homeschooled (actually unschooled) my kids for 9 years, you can well imagine the attitudes we have encountered. We attend a Presbyterian church (PCUSA- the *liberal* ones) so our uber-conservative friends and acquaintances tend to think we need to be prayed for.
